By accessing or using Calma AI, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you are using the platform through a school or organization, your access may also be subject to that organization's internal rules, policies, and onboarding requirements.
2. Description of the service
Calma AI is a school-focused wellbeing and safety platform that may include AI-assisted chat, bullying report submission, school dashboards, parent and teacher portals, notifications, risk signals, and student support workflows.
3. Eligibility and access
Access to Calma AI may be provisioned by a school, class teacher, parent, or platform administrator. Users must provide accurate information during onboarding and may only use the role and account assigned to them.
- Students may use only their own invited account.
- Parents may use only their own invited account and linked child views.
- School staff may access only the data permitted for their role.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform. This includes attempting to access another user's data, intentionally sending abusive or malicious content, disrupting service availability, reverse-engineering the product, or using the platform in violation of applicable law or school policy.
5. AI assistance and safety limitations
Calma AI may provide AI-generated responses, image analysis, summaries, and risk signals. These features are intended to support wellbeing workflows, not replace professional medical, psychiatric, legal, or emergency services.
- Calma AI is not an emergency response system.
- AI output may be incomplete, imperfect, or require human review.
- Schools and caregivers remain responsible for appropriate follow-up and safeguarding actions.
6. User-generated content
Users may submit text, reports, images, and profile information. You remain responsible for the content you submit and for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
7. School and administrator responsibilities
If your organization uses Calma AI, school administrators and authorized staff are responsible for configuring access, managing invites, reviewing alerts and reports, and applying appropriate safeguarding procedures consistent with their obligations.
8. Privacy and data handling
Your use of the service is also subject to the Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information, reports, chat content, images, and related metadata may be collected, processed, stored, and shared within the platform.
9. Availability, suspension, and termination
We may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue access to parts of the service when needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or account management. Accounts may also be disabled if platform terms or school rules are violated.
10. Intellectual property
The Calma AI platform, interface, branding, software, and associated materials remain the property of the platform operator or its licensors, except for user content submitted by users or schools.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calma AI is provided on an 'as available' basis. While reasonable efforts may be made to support accuracy, safety, and uptime, no guarantee is made that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates become effective means the updated terms apply to your continued use.
